1. Purpose of This Agreement

This Student Agreement ("Agreement") establishes the terms and expectations for your participation as a student on the LinguaPath English learning platform. By creating an account or accessing any course content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

2. Student Commitment

As a LinguaPath student, you commit to:

  • Active Participation: Engage meaningfully with course materials, exercises, and assessments
  • Academic Honesty: Complete all work and assessments independently without external assistance or cheating
  • Respectful Conduct: Treat the platform, its content creators, and any community features with respect
  • Personal Use: Use your account solely for your own educational benefit
  • Progress Responsibility: Take ownership of your learning progress and outcomes

3. Academic Integrity

Academic integrity is fundamental to the value of your learning. You agree to:

  • Complete all assessments and exercises using only your own knowledge and skills
  • Not share assessment questions, answers, or content with others
  • Not use AI tools, translation software, or other external aids during assessments unless explicitly permitted
  • Not copy or plagiarize content from any source
  • Report any suspected cheating or integrity violations you observe

Consequences of Violation: Violations of academic integrity may result in:

  • Invalidation of assessment scores
  • Revocation of issued certificates
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of your account
  • No refund of any fees paid

4. Assessment Conditions

When taking assessments on LinguaPath, you agree to:

  • Complete assessments in one sitting without undue breaks
  • Work independently without assistance from other people
  • Not use dictionaries, translators, or reference materials unless specified
  • Accept that AI-powered grading is used and understand its limitations
  • Follow any time limits set for the assessment

5. Certificates

Regarding LinguaPath certificates:

  • Certificates are earned by passing level assessments with a score of 80% or higher
  • Certificates represent completion of LinguaPath coursework only
  • Certificates are not equivalent to official English language qualifications (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.)
  • You may use certificates for personal portfolios and to demonstrate commitment to learning
  • Misrepresenting LinguaPath certificates as official qualifications is prohibited

6. Learning Expectations

You understand and acknowledge that:

  • Language learning requires consistent effort and practice over time
  • Results vary based on individual effort, prior knowledge, and learning style
  • LinguaPath provides educational resources but cannot guarantee specific outcomes
  • External factors (practice opportunities, immersion, etc.) significantly impact language acquisition
  • Completion of courses does not guarantee success on external examinations

7. Content Usage Rights

As a student, you have the right to:

  • Access all content included in your purchased plan for personal study
  • Retake assessments according to platform rules
  • Download your earned certificates
  • Access your progress data and learning history

You do NOT have the right to:

  • Share, distribute, or sell any course content
  • Record, screenshot, or copy lessons for distribution
  • Use content for commercial purposes or teaching others
  • Share your account credentials with anyone

8. Technical Requirements

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have a stable internet connection for assessments
  • Using a compatible web browser (latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
  • Maintaining security of your login credentials
  • Saving your work regularly where applicable

LinguaPath is not responsible for assessment issues caused by your internet connection, device problems, or failure to meet technical requirements.

9. Privacy and Data

Your learning data, including progress, assessment scores, and certificates, is stored securely. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is collected, used, and protected.

10. Feedback and Appeals

You have the right to:

  • Provide feedback on course content and assessments
  • Report errors or issues with content
  • Request review of assessment decisions within 14 days of completion
  • Contact support for assistance with technical or account issues

11. Agreement Modifications

LinguaPath reserves the right to update this Student Agreement. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
